Stuck in Elonia - no help from Lonai - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,

I need some help here. I have a Tyria character who went to Elona and has skipped fairly quicly though the earlier parts of the game.

She is now stuck and the problem seems to be that Lonai won't give the quest "Mysterious Message".

She has the following (main land) cities on the map:

Camp Hojanu, Pogahn Passage, Riloh Refuge, Sunspear Sanctuary, Yohlon Heaven, Nundu Bay, Gate of Desolation.

She has done the following (main land) missions:
Kodonur Crossroads, Venta cemetary

There are no more quests to get anywhere...!

Can anybody tell me, what's wrong?

After Vent cemetary; did you get the primary quest from that guy in kamadan?

2 suggestions: go back and check to see if there are any other side quests that you may have overlooked, sometimes one or 2 of those have to be completed before you can continue, and make sure you have enough sunspear points to continue (gotta be a sunspear general before continuing at one point).

There's a quest from Dockmaster someone in Kamadan. I had troubles finding it to. I checked GuildWiki, it was right there.

It's not from the dockmaster, it's in the consulate and it's the 'To Vabbi' quest

The dockmaster gives you a quest that sends you to the Consulate and when you finish that quest, Elder Somebody gives you the next quest "To Vabbi"

The Council is Called

Summary

1. Give your report of the assault to the consulate.
2. Speak with Elder Suhl.
3. Give your report to Elder Nahlo.
4. Find Elder Dahut and make your report.
5. See Elder Suhl for your reward.

Our surviving ships can hold off the Kournan and their allied corsairs for a short while, but how can we defend ourselves against demons?"

"We will need allies in these desperate times ... allies for the coming fight."

Intermediate Dialogue (Elder Nahlo)

"We lost thousands of weapons, hundreds of boats and a vast amount of supplies. Komir has truly failed us. Varesh has declared the Sunspears traitors, and Istan allies of the Order. We must sue for peace. If only we could talk to Varesh...perhaps then we could explain what has happened."

Intermediate Dialogue (Elder Dahut)

"Suhl would press forward with this fight; Nahlo would explain the details until Nightfall is upon us. We have failed...and in failing we have endangered all of Istan. There is no other choice. We must surrender and plead for Varesh's mercy. To much blood has been shed because of Komir."

"We have heard firsthand accounts of the attack on Gandara and the treachery of Varesh Ossa."

As another Just In Case...
If you DID somehow complete Mysterious Message without remembering it (it's very short) the next quest should be waiting for you in Jahai Bluffs just to the north of the Command Post exit.
Erm... Other than that, maybe try completing Kodonur Crossroads a second time just in case something got bugged the first time, then see if Lonai has Mysterious Message for ya.
